Our solutions have been widely accepted by industry. Within 2 years, these services contribute to 10 percent of revenues delivering healthy bottom line.
Pune based Ace Brain Systems and Software has clocked rupees 38 crores over the last fiscal. The key dynamic moves of this solution provider includes diversification into Biometrics and IT Services. Yogesh Godbole, Director, says, "The old hardware company is now an upwardly mobile solution provider completely transformed with additional revenue sources, which are guiding its growth."
The two new divisions of Biometrics and CAD CAM services have contributed significantly to the revenues as well as bottom-line of Ace Brain. Since biometric was a new concept, it took time for getting acceptance in all government offices. Biometrics now carries 35 percent share in the revenues and the bottom line share is around 45 percent.
Ace Brain's risk in branching out to 3D CAD and CAM was a calculated one and quite a big one at that. Godbole recalls that the company was very much dependant on Government for more than 90 percent of the revenues earlier. So, widening the customer base in different verticals through 3D CAD/CAM was a venture that could have backfired. Says Godbole, "Our solutions have been widely accepted by industry immediately. Within 2 years, these services now contribute to 10 percent of our revenues by giving us a very healthy bottom line."
